The Machiya Operations team manages daily operations to ensure guests enjoy a comfortable stay in our machiya properties. We handle check-in procedures, front desk operations, and multilingual guest communication, as well as create accommodation experience. Through close collaboration on facility inspections, supplies management, and housekeeping coordination, we balance detailed operational tasks with guest-focused service to create memorable stays.

We handle front desk operations including check-in and check-out, breakfast services, develop accommodation packages and experience programs, and manage facility operations, supplies, and cleaning coordination. Through professional and friendly service, including multilingual guest communication, we create welcoming stays for guests from Japan and around the world.

A key part of this role involves analyzing access data and market trends to develop strategic initiatives, balancing creative vision with data-driven decision-making.

The Administration team handles back-office operations that support the entire company. Human Resources manages everything from recruitment to labor administration, General Affairs oversees supplies, facilities, and internal procedures, and Accounting handles daily transactions to financial closing support. Working closely with all departments, our mission is to ensure accurate and smooth operations while creating an environment where every team member can work with confidence. This role combines specialized expertise with teamwork to build the foundation of our company.

Project management for machiya accommodations / Planning / Design supervision / Schedule and budget management / Construction supervision and on-site coordination / Government liaison (permits, consultations, etc.)
The Project Development team transforms historic machiya townhouses into accommodation facilities. We handle planning, design, and construction management for renovation projects that preserve these cultural assets while making them accessible to guests from Japan and around the world. Each machiya has its own character, and this role allows you to be involved in renovation and development projects from the earliest stages.

The Food & Beverage team develops menus and prepares meals that guests truly enjoy. We focus on creating satisfying breakfasts that help guests start their day well and enhance their overall stay. Beyond breakfast service, we also manage hotel cafés and overseas sushi restaurants, working to increase value across our food and beverage operations while contributing to revenue growth. Through continuous improvement and new challenges, we pursue both exceptional guest experiences and company growth.
